Active Research & Development

The Active Compost Team has a wide range of research experience and has an on-going involvement with in-house programmes as well as participating in joint projects with clients. Research sponsors span both public and private sectors where research is aimed respectively at public-good developments or commercial projects. The latter includes our ability to develop proprietary systems including patented or design-protected systems and methods. Overseas experience in the Active Compost team includes substantial work in developed countries, throughout Europe as well as third world countries. Our research philosophy is aimed at practical solutions first, academic outputs second. Despite this order our track-record shows that where possible we do publish high level quality-assured research in the public domain so that the entire industry sector can gain.

Commercial developments are carried out at the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality where the latter is required and we will work with you to protect your advances.

Experience includes the following:

Achieving pasteurisation during composting

Products
